The crewmates have to perform tasks in order to fill the progress meter. In the meantime, the Imposters have to kill the Crewmates in cold blood. Once a dead body is reported, players gather around for the meeting. They have to screen out the imposters. During the meeting, Crewmates go by their intuition and decide to vote out a player. The Imposters should desperately try to shift the blame onto an innocent.
The game ends in favor of the Crewmates for the following three scenarios:
- If they successfully vote out all of the Imposters.
- The Task bar is completely filled
The Imposters can emerge victorious is the number of Crewmates is equal to the number of Imposters. This can be achieved either by killing them without getting caught or to shrewdly blame an innocent and survive the vote outs.
When did it gain popularity
To be honest, the game had not at all planned for this huge success. During the early phase of the worldwide lockdown, players were engaged in FPS action games like PUBG and Call of Duty. The popularity of the game rose in India after the ban of PUBG by the government. Another reason for the rise in popularity is the craving of people for an activity to pass time.
