After a long time, the sequel of Hellblade is finally announced and many players are looking forward to playing Hellblade 2 Senua’s Saga-Giant Siege.
Many are wondering what else this game is offering in terms of story, gameplay mechanics, and level design and we’re gonna spill every detail about the most anticipated game. Read on more to know about Hellblade 2 Senua’s Saga and its release date.
When is Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga going to release?
As the Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice was a timed exclusive released for PC and Playstation platforms, things will be different for its sequel. The reason for it being is that Xbox acquired Ninja Theory back in 2018 as devs were also excited by the prospect of “full creative independence”, which means that Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga is going to be an Xbox exclusive title and will be released only on Xbox consoles and PC platforms, eliminating the possibility of a Playstation and Nintendo Switch ports of the game.
As the game is currently in development, and no official announcement is made for the release date, we believe it will take a long time and that’s completely fine as rushed games are often broken with terrible glitches, low FPS issues, and game-breaking bugs. Another reason this will be an even better game is that Microsoft is releasing this game to the older generation of Xbox consoles, specifically in Xbox One, however, it won’t look pretty as PC or Series X/S consoles.
Graphics of Hellblade 2!
The first game also featured beautiful graphics with advanced lighting and post-processing effects that made it a delight to look at. Based on the reveal trailer of Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga, we got to see more photorealistic graphics with amazing facial animations on characters, environment detail, water reflections, and darker tone powered by Unreal Engine 5 enhances the immersion ten times more than the original game and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
Story of the game
Just like the first game, Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga is also set in 9th century Iceland, and will delve more into Senua’s story. Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga will shed more light on her character where she confronted her demons and accepted loss just as we saw in the first game. We also think that the second game will be about Senua avenging Dillion against the Norsemen as we saw in the trailer how bloodthirsty she looked.
