Chinese smartphone maker Oppo launched the Reno 2Z smartphone in its semi-flagship Reno series in 2019. The device features promising specifications with a quad-rear camera setup. The device was launched initially with Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box, but, still, there is no Android 10 update for the Oppo Reno 2Z devices. Well, Android 10 launched in Q4 of 2019 and several users have been asking OEM about the Android 10 update in Reno 2Z. Recalling the Reno 2Z features. The device comes with a 6.53-inch display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. And it is powered by MediaTek Helio P90 octa-core processor which is assisted with a 8GB RAM for lag-free performance. The most interesting part about the Oppo Reno 2Z is the quad-rear camera setup which carries 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors for great photos. Now talking about the Android 10 update status of Oppo Reno 2Z. The OEM has officially announced the roadmap for Android 10 based ColorOS 7 update for its smartphone range. The list includes the flagship Reno-series, A-series and F-series too. The update for the various Oppo devices will start rolling out from the first quarter of 2020, which will bring Android 10 based ColorOS 7 to all the devices.
Oppo Reno 2Z Android 10 update release date –
According to the official roadmap for Android 10 update. The Oppo Find-series will be first to get the update, in the month of January. Talking specifically about the Reno 2Z Android 10 update, we are expecting the update to arrive at the end of March.
Oppo Reno 2Z (Trial version -for limited users) will arrive in March 2019.

It seems that Oppo is going to release Android 10 based ColorOS 7 skin for Oppo Reno2 Z very soon. As today, the OEM has started the trial version of Android 10 on the Reno2 Z device.
For your information, the OEM allows only a few users for the trial version. And this time, only 2000 applicants are given the chance to try out the trial version.
Also, this is the first batch, and the entry starts now. If you are interested you can apply to be the tester.
Wondering, how to apply for trial version. Go to Settings > Software Updates > Trial version and then fill up your details. And if you got selected, you will get the trial version update in the next three days.
