Howdy Gamers!!! So recently Splitgate players have been experiencing some issues regarding their Referral code system. Since the release of the feature, players have been constantly reporting the same issue over and over again and it has become quite a hot topic on Reddit. We have surfed the web and maybe have found the solution for your problems.
About the game:-
Splitgate is a free-to-play multiplayer FPS game developed by 1047 Games. The game was launched on early access basis in May 2019 for Linux and Windows users and in July 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox series X/S, PS4, and PS5. The gameplay is similar to that of Halo, a sci-fi-inspired combat scenario where players can even create a Wormhole through which they can shoot and move within the map like the game Portal.
How to redeem codes:-
- Open the game and go to the Main Menu screen.
- Click on the Reward Center option at the left corner of the screen.
- Enter the code you received under the Who Referred You? Section.
- Note down your unique code under it as well.
- You can send your code to another friend to redeem.
- Both you and your friend will receive a reward of 50 Splitcoins each if the code is redeemed successfully. Splitcoin is the in-game currency.
Splitgate referral code issue:-
Since the cross-platform play was made available developers saw a huge surge of concurrent players so they introduced referral codes that can be used to gain bonus rewards. The rewards are:-
- Banner – Epic
- Epic Name Tag – Recruiter
- Epic Pistol Skin – Racer
- Legendary Plasma Rifle Skin – Ritual
- Legendary Smg Skin – Wildfire
Fix:-
But since then some players have been reporting problems using these codes, Here are some tips and tricks which could help.
- Firstly make sure that the player has progressed past Level 10. you won’t be able to enter someone’s referral if your XP level is 10 or above.
- The code is available only once per player, but you can make as many referrals as you want.
- When referring someone make sure that he is below XP 10 at the time of referral.
- Check the entered code carefully.
