Through movies, we have often come across the American way. Whether it be Hollywood, the eastern coast of New York, or LA in the west, the American dream has mesmerized us.
Henceforth, the American experience is also there with the driving. The freeways of America provide a great route. Even travel between two cities in trucks is something we wanted to experience. Well, we can thank American Truck Simulator for providing us with the experience. In the game, we get trailer-hooked trucks delivering items to an assigned location. We get rewarded with money and game points after the completion of a task.
Truck drivers have a lot of responsibility under them as they have to deliver the goods carefully at the designated location. With the progress, players earn money. This money helps in upgrading trucks. This includes fuel, mechanical upgrades, as well as an aesthetic touch. We also get to start a trucking business, where players can hire drivers and own properties. At a higher level, sensitive items like explosives and chemicals become our responsibility. The reward for completing these tasks is also bigger. The game has received praises for providing a great truck driving simulation. But will we get a sequel to this gaming title? American Truck Simulator 2
Recently, SCS Software brought out a DLC update. The new update 1.41 brings multiplayer to the 5-year-old game. Along with this, enhancement in quality of life was also added. Therefore, American Truck Simulator 2, for now, would not be coming out. SCS Software is still rolling updates for the first version to keep the fans engaged with the game.
But we can hopefully see the arrival of the American Truck Simulator by 2023 or 2024. In the sequel, we can expect to see the addition of some new locations. While the first part is available on PC, we can see American Truck Simulator 2 coming out for the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X, with high-level graphics for the consoles.
