Pokémon UNITE may not have gotten off to the best start with the notoriously demanding Pokemon fans since its announcement at the Pokémon Presents event solely because fans assumed that the project being hinted at would be a massive MMORPG in the main series releasing for consoles and PC, but eventually, fans have left behind their bitter taste toward the game and are finally warming up to the idea of a spin-off series Pokémon game for their mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch. The announcement trailer for the game even had to be reuploaded since it had quickly become the channel’s most disliked video!
The launch roster for UNITE has already been revealed on the Pokémon UNITE website, so let us go ahead and take a look at Greninja’s stats, levels, evolutions, and more. Right, let’s get into it.
As usual, the Froakie evolves into the Frogadier at Level 5, which is its intermediate form. The final form, Greninja, can be reached starting Level 7. At Level 9, it learns the special new Pokemon Unite move, called the Waterburst Shuriken, where “Greninja deals massive damage to opponents by throwing a huge water shuriken down on them from above”.
Greninja has the power tags of Attacker and Ranged, meaning it is an expert at dealing big amounts of damage to its opponents from afar.
Stats for the Greninja in Pokemon UNITE
Now, let’s take a look at the stats for the Greninja from the official website. Remember all ratings are out of five stars.
Offense: 4/5
Endurance: 2/5
Mobility: 3/5
Scoring: 3/5
Support: 0.5/5
The Greninja is an expert attacker, which is reflected in its 4/5 rating in offense. It also features quite respectable ratings in Mobility and Scoring, with 3/5s in each. Its weakest link is in Support, at just 0.5/5 stars. This can be attributed to the fact that it would rather focus on hurting the opposition than help its allies.
The Difficulty level of this Pokemon is listed as Expert.
