Solutions for error code 6347

These tips are useful without you noticing them. Activision releases updated patch notes which are sufficient to address some of the bugs. This is why you should update the game. Keeping the latest version of Windows OS or its device drivers is a bonus. This ensures that the compatibility of your system with the game is never out of sync.

Well, now it’s time to dive right into the fixes for the dev error.

1. Use Battle.Net for corrupt files – Battle.Net is a very useful tool. It can scan all the game files and provide a corrupt file report for your game. The client has a very useful feature. The scan will replace any damaged file with the working counterpart. Follow the steps mentioned below to access this feature.

  • Open Battle.Net and go to Modern Warfare.
  • Click on Options
  • Now, select the Scan and Repair option

Upon finishing the process, restart the game and check for the dev error.

2. Disable Discord Overlay – Quite a large number of players have reported that Discord overlay creates issues with the COD: MW game. This can happen because the overlay files can interfere with the original file operations of the game. Disable any other overlay software for screen recording as well.

These solutions have proved to be very effective. In case you face additional difficulties, you can always head to the Activision community forum for help.
