In Pokemon Go, a Raid Battle is cooperative gameplay where trainers work with other trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokemon known as Raid Boss. After defeating a Raid Boss, trainers receive a series of rewards depending upon the tier of defeated Boss.

Lugio and Ho-oh are coming back as a Raid Boss in a special raid challenge this weekend from December 20, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. PST to Monday, December 23, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).
