Nothing is true, Everything is permitted. Assassin’s Creed games are masterpieces of ancient storytelling and gaming. Ubisoft has come up with one of the most iconic games in the history of gaming. With several titles released, fans haven’t stopped waiting for the next one. Here’s what we know about the Next Assassins Creed game:
Assassin’s Creed
Let’s begin the game itself. Assassin’s Creed is a series of gaming titles that follows, you guessed it, Assasin’s through different time periods in history. From Cyprus to France, Vikings to Ancient Rome, Assasin’s Creed has covered several courses of history. You see our Assassin’s primarily advocate and battle for free will against the Knight Templars in the very first game of the series. This trend is seen throughout the game where the Assassins are revolutionaries bent on bringing in change.
The main Assassin’s Creed titles that have been released by Ubisoft are:
- 1. Assassin’s Creed (2007)
- 2. Assassin’s Creed II (2009)
- 3. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood (2010)
- 4. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (2011)
- 5. Assassin’s Creed III (2012)
- 6. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (2013)
- 7. Assassin’s Creed: Rogue (2014)
- 8. Assassin’s Creed: Unity (2014)
- 9. Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate (2015)
- 10. Assassin’s Creed: Origins (2017)
- 11. Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey (2018)
- 12. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla (2020)
With engaging storylines, great gameplay mechanisms, and the mystery of being an assassin, all of these games have faired well. While the number of titles has definitely received its fair share of criticism, accusing Ubisoft of milking the series for more than it’s worth, the general consensus is that the games are well-made and have a high replayability aspect to them. In the same vein, let’s look at what we know about the latest upcoming installment.
Next Assassins Creed game 2022
A Reddit user posted a thread 3 months ago in the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit regarding a 4chan post that reportedly contained information about an upcoming Next Assassins Creed game slated to be released in 2022. The 4chan post, now deleted, repeatedly highlighted the setting of the game to be sometime during the 100 years war in France. The post was crossposted to the official Assassin’s Creed subreddit, where it was met with skepticism. The details surrounding the release didn’t match the typical Assassin’s Creed release scenario. This included the game budget and the release.
Other leaks have mentioned the game being set in Japan and Africa. r/GamingLeaksAndRumours saw another post about Assassin’s Creed Knighthood 2022, which was eventually debunked as a false alarm. But, we don’t have any concrete news as of now.
