PokemonCenter.com blocking issue troubling players : Here’s how to fix ?

PokemonCenter.com is an official website for buying authentic pokemon toys, plushes, and merchandise, etc. However, the site is reported to be blocking potential buyers for simply refreshing the page. Here’s everything you need to know.

Pokemon Center

Pokemon has a really vast fan base. From debuting in the industry with a new game series called Pokemon Red and Pokemon Green back in 1996, it soon became a major franchise. Pokemon fans can be found anywhere across the world and with such craze among people, it is hard to not provide exclusive items for them to buy. So, for the sole purpose of providing new and exclusive items, PokemonCenter.com was established. From buying plushes to buying valuable trading cards, it offers everything a pokemon enthusiast would want.

Unfortunately, many potential buyers are getting banned from accessing the website as they try to refresh the page. Reddit discussions about the matter have already started to get the attention of many.

PokemonCenter is banning users. Why?

Well, it seems that whenever users open multiple tabs of the website or even refresh the page a couple of times within a minute, they get the “Are you a robot?” page. Normally, people would just select the correct images to ensure that the client is a human but PokemonCenter.com is blocking them from accessing the website even after the test.

This might be happening because many users apply bots to the website to buy everything before real people even get the chance to buy any. So, to avoid such a situation again, the website developers have added extra layers of protection but it is affecting potential buyers now.

For the first time, it is just a temporary ban and users can access the website after a couple of hours. However, we have also received many reports of permabans and that is really unfortunate.

How to get unbanned?

If you somehow get banned from accessing the PokemonCenter website, submit a request to the customer service and wait for them to act on it and unban you.

So, if you are planning to visit PokemonCenter or buy anything from it, don’t risk your chances of getting banned by refreshing the page. It is highly suggested that you should avoid buying anything in this current state of the website.
