Animal Crossing: New Horizons is one of the most famous games right now, much due to its popularity during the lockdown. The game’s player base surged exponentially in little time, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons has enjoyed a huge, loyal fanbase ever since.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a simulation game where players play as a villager. They can customize their character, after which they begin on an island. The island has various opportunities on it, the player can enjoy exploring and crafting items, interacting with the NPCs around them. The game garnered universal acclaim for its rather adorable art style and a plethora of content.
Sanrio AmiiboFor Animal Crossing Veterans, Sanrio is not an unknown name. Sanrio is the creators of the famous Hello Kitty character and has been featured in previous versions of Animal Crossing as well. Nintendo released a tweet from the official Isabelle Twitter account, indicating the collaboration with Sanrio and details about the cards. The fans flocked around the news and were visibly excited to try out the latest additions to the Animal Crossing: New Horizons roster.

Animal Crossing will be releasing 6 Sanrio Amiibo cards, each dedicated to a Sanrio Character. The Characters will be: Rila, Chai, Marty, Étoile, Chai, Chelsea, and Toby, which will be available as villagers when you buy their specific cards. The cards will be exclusively available in Target stores across America and will set you back only $5.99.
As far as Pre-orders are concerned, players have time and again tried to contact Target to provide more information about the same. Target said that they were unsure as well, but pegged the release date on 26 March.
