Stardew Valley-2021
Stardew Valley was released in February 2016 for Windows PC after almost four years of closed development. It followed Linux and macOS support months after its official release date and now is available on every platform including Android and iOS. Since its release, it has been popular as it featured similar mechanics to other farming simulators. However, with new and consistent updates, the game seems to upgrade the experience even more.
The Stardew Valley update 1.5 was released on consoles today. The PC version of update 1.5 was released almost a month ago and finally, consoles got the update on 12-2-2021. So this update brought new changes to the game, some minor and major.
The Stardew Valley 1.5 Update for Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation are out, and should be available on all platforms within the next couple of hours.

Update 1.5 introduced a new region, Ginger Island along with new locations, new dialogues, and new NPCs. It also added some new farm features including-
- A new beach farm layout
- Ostrich is now a farm animal
- Home Renovation featured added.

The consistent updates make this game engaging as they introduce new content every now and then. Well, since the game is currently doing good, people are talking about the release of a fresh game, a sequel, to be precise.

Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone said the following to GameInformer– “I will say that I definitely love Stardew Valley. I love it as a world and a universe. I don’t think [1.5] will be the end of Stardew Valley. I would not be surprised if there’s another Stardew Valley update, or multiple updates, or a Stardew Valley 2”. He later added- “There isn’t currently a Stardew Valley 2; after 1.5, I’ll decide what the next step for Stardew Valley is. But I would say there will probably be another step for Stardew Valley. In the meantime, I’m also working on a couple of new projects – solo projects – so I have plenty to do.”
Stardew Valley 2- Release Date
As of now, there is no official news on the release of Stardew Valley 2. We think it is not going to be released anytime soon as the current version is in the focus of the devs. It is rather a challenge for the devs to create a sequel of Stardew Valley as the game itself is unique in some ways which will be difficult to be recreated so we think instead of a sequel, the devs will be continuing the current process of bringing in more content into the game.
