Apple introduced this unique concept of the lineages of smartwatches, known as Apple Watch, back in 2015. It provides the users a lot of new and effective features such as incorporates wireless telecommunication, fitness tracking, and wireless health-oriented capabilities. Since 2015, it’s under regular updates every year, as the latest model of the Apple Watch series launched in September 2020 just the previous year. It was named the “Apple Watch Series 6” and it was an amazing model as the customers loved the new embedded features that it was providing.
One of the best features of the Apple Watch is that of syncing it with your iPhone. And it’s really simple to sync your Apple Watch with your iPhone, and it just requires your Bluetooth and WiFi-enabled. If that’s done, then your iPhone will automatically get synced with your Apple Watch, no matter your Apple Watch model, without any obstructions. But there are times when your Apple Watch will create some troubles regarding the syncing and it would not be able to sync activity, health, or any other data. So in such cases, you may have to force your Apple Watch to be synced with your iPhone. Now below are some listed points on how to make this possible, just follow the simple steps given below.
How to do it?
The very first requirement for forcing your Apple Watch to be synced with your iPhone is the fact that you will have to reset sync data. But before trying that method, first, make sure that all the connections between your iPhone and Apple Watch are intact.
Now open the Control Center by swiping down from the top right corner of your screen on your iPhone. And if you have an older model, swipe up from the bottom for getting the same interface.
Now you will see the “Toggles” menu, enable your “Bluetooth” and “WiFi” from there and try syncing your Apple Watch like that.
Well if your Apple Watch still doesn’t get synced, as mentioned above, you can use the force sync method. Follow the steps below to enable it:
- Open the “Watch” application on the iPhone. Now, from the tab “My Watch”, select the “General” option.
- The next thing is to swipe down to the bottom of the page and clicks on the “Reset” option.
- Now through the new menu, click on the “Reset Sync Data” option.
- So by doing this you let your iPhone erase all the contacts and other data from your Apple Watch, along with the sync settings. Now once the process is completed, it will start your sync process, and this time it will be syncing all the data of your Apple Watch to your iPhone and vice-versa.
