Camera Go App is the light version of Google Camera. It brings some of the features of its bigger brother to the budget smartphones. The app supports portrait mode by the use of software processing and features such as HDR are available but do not capture images as good as pictures captured by a Pixel phone with HDR enabled.
Users who want to download the Google Camera app or the Camera Go app have to sideload the app from the internet. This is because Google has limited its camera apps only to devices manufactured under the Pixel Lineup. But developers have found unofficial ways to download Camera Go or GCam apps for other smartphones through camera ports.
Developers use camera ports in which every feature may not work or some of them may not work properly. These ports workaround Google’s API to bring modern features to older Pixel smartphones also. Although, the phone isn’t out yet, the camera port for the Redmi 9T 5G has been released.
The Redmi 9T 5G is not officially announced yet but we have been getting a lot of rumours and speculations about the phone. The phone will support a 6.53″ display with a 1080p display and 395ppi density. The 9T will have a fingerprint sensor side-mounted on the power key. The phone will run MIUI 12 based on Android 10. The Redmi 9T 5G is rumoured to launch in three colours, Gray, Green and Violet.
For the Redmi 9T 5G the developers have released Google Camera’s light version, Camera Go. The app brings features such as portrait mode, Google Transalate.etc. to the phone.
