So this chapter primarily deals with how the ant queen and her guards get wrecked at the hands of Korean hunters. And on the other hand, how Japanese pissed their pants and tried to run away from the battlefield. So did the raid actually succeeded? Without Jin-Woo (heavy sighs..)
Moving on coming to the battle, in the beginning as expected Goto was devastated that his elite team was wiped out like nothing and he literally felt that they had miscalculated something. A recap of four months is shown where the ant queen loses her share of energy massively. But within a month she regains it. We know that energy cannot be destroyed it can only be converted. Well, that’s the law of energy for you which you supposedly learned at high school I guess. Okay nevermind, so where did this energy go? Looking at all previous chapter this only indicates that a massive soldier ant was born and the giant egg was none other than his.
Next, we see our Korean team entering the “Queen’s Chamber” yeah the royal cave. They all were moving forward with an A rank cameraman who was actually a dead weight considering the rank of the dungeon. So the squad aligned as follows, Choi the magician lighted the cave, Baek became the treasure hunter (enemy scouting), Cha became the secondary tanker primary being Mah as well as the captain, I’m being in the rear with the cameraman and S rank healer Byung. Apparently, as they thrust forward we see that the broadcasting station made a huge profit. Being the first of his kind cameraman was overly motivated and thus he tried to go on his own that’s when Byung stepped in. Thus we see the difference of an S rank and an A rank. He warned the cameraman and asked him to be careful.
Then they meet the queen bearing an immense presence and 8 guards stepped in front of her. The battle gets started. We then see a small conversation between an old couple where the old man was infuriated by just the name hunter. A recap of his life is seen in which we see the couple losing their only child at the hands of ants and thus pleading the hunters for justice who were not able to do anything. This made them hopeless and the old man who once used to be a passionate fan of hunters started resenting them. Then we see them seeing the broadcast which now had rating off the charts. Hunters killed the ants one by one as the numbers grew less. The old man’s expressions and emotions overflowed with joy after so many years. So was the case with other people who had lost a family or dear one to ants.
Finally, the queen was left. The team handled her swiftly with wide-scale magic, fire arrows, and sword attacks and when she was just about to die. She made a huge screech as if calling someone for help. The hunters got perplexed and thus immediately ended her life by beheading her. The director on the other side now knew that the Japanese had withdrawn. It puzzled him. Suddenly on the battlefield, we see a dark creature entering which was only detected by Baek’s Eye of the tiger. He had chills running across his body. This creature possessed an unbelievable power. So who is this? And what will happen to the hunters? The raid was a success, right?
