Machia closes in on the main action meanwhile there was a really weird encounter between Toga and Uravity in the last chapter of My Hero Academia. It feels like we are in the third act of the arc and the writers are slowing down the pace a little to deliver the last punch. Deku and Shigaraki both are massively injured as well as mentally unhinged after coming back from the OFA world fight. Currently on the main scene are Ida, Todoriki, Bakugo, Endeavor and we do not know the condition of Gran Torino. My Hero Academia (MHA) Chapter 290 Release Date & Raw Scan
There were rumours that MHA 290 will be on a break this week as well but we are here to tell that is not the case. My hero academia 290 will release as per its weekly schedule in Shonen Jump Magazine. As you know already, the MHA 290 raw scan come out 2-3 days before the release date of the chapter. The raw scans are basically the leaked snapshots of the chapter, translated by popular online leakers. We will update this post by Friday for the official raw scan of MHA 290. Chapter 289 Recap:
Nejire and Ida are moving towards the hospital area where Deku & others are fighting Shigaraki. Ida is determined to help his friends and we shift to Deku falling from the sky. Todoroki catches him while holding Endeavor and Bakugo both. Ida and Nejire arrive to see the dire result of the battle, meanwhile, Shigaraki struggles holding on to AFO’s orders. His body seems to be at the brink after an unsuccessful attempt to take over. Shoto tells Ida to help evacuate but Deku screeches trying to say this is the chance to finish Shigaraki. Shoto takes a hint and prepares the final blow.
The interesting part of the chapter was the cat-chase between Toga and Uraraka. Toga runs into a monologue of anyone not trying to understand her. She says that when she became Uraraka and killed a guy, she loved it. That gets Uraraka angry. Toga further implies that Uraraka loves Deku. Tsuyu arrives to help Uraraka chasing away Toga. It gets Toga sad that she couldn’t talk more about her love for Deku.
Uraraka notices tears in Toga’s eyes and gets confused. It is good to see the sentimental side of villains for a change.
In the final panel-page, we see Machia, Deku, Shigaraki and others and a caption that says the final war is coming soon.
My Hero Academia (MHA) Chapter 290 Spoilers & Prediction
MHA 290 spoilers are basically the translations of the leaked raw scan. They will come out by Friday this week and we will update this post with them. Currently, there are no MHA 290 spoilers but that does not stop us from talking more about the chapter! BNHA 290 discussion & prediction is a ritual for us, where we talk about the manga we love so much. My predictions are usually on the money (except the time skip one). I try my best guys!
- We are in the endgame now! The last panel clearly shows that the battle point is at its culmination. The heroes are beaten down and so is Shigaraki.
- Heroes do have one giant problem (get it?) in Machia. He is cannoning towards Shigaraki with the League of Villain on his back.
- This means the decision will be to stall the fight with League losing a couple of villains for Shigaraki to escape.
- I am totally hyped for Shoto vs Dabi & maybe Endeavor if he is strong enough to fight.
- I want to see Uraraka trying something vs Gigantomachia maybe her quirk is the way to defeat the monster?
