Samsung made an announcement yesterday(10th September) about the list of phones that will be eligible for the Android 11. Samsung is going to release OneUI 3.0 which will succeed the present OneUI 2.0 on Samsung phones. The new One UI 3.0 beta ROM is based on Android 11 and is presently available to selected users and developers in Korea and the USA. Samsung will release a public beta worldwide soon that will let other Samsung Galaxy users to get a taste of what the new OneUI 3.0 might offer.
Speaking of Android 11 offers, it features the following :
- A conversation focused notification system aided with chat bubbles.
- Improved power menu button
- Improved Dark Mode
- Improved permissions to let sensitive permissions like location,NFC to be used only when necessary
- An in-built screen recorder
OneUI 2.0 was very well received as it was very optimised, the visual clutter was removed, aesthetics were improved and it presented a bunch of useful options when used with other Samsung appliances e.g the Samsung Galaxy buds.Now that the public beta is going to kick off very soon,here is a list of devices that made the cut for receiving OneUI 3.0 with Android 11 :
