You must have heard Rampart’s name if you follow Apex Legends. Season 6 of Apex Legends is fast approaching and will land on August 18. For the occasion, a new Legend will be in the game. After seeing Revenant arrive during season 4 then Loba the following season. Rampart intends to shoot everything that moves during this sixth season.
As usual, Respawn distills new trailers as the new season approaches. This time, a little focus on the past of the new Legend, which should not be underestimated.
In addition to adding a new weapon, a new battle pass, and a weapon upgrade system, this season 6 will be first and foremost the season of Rampart. After the disappointment of the last legend Loba, who seems to be largely neglected in many parts, let’s hope that Ramya Parekh aka Rampart has more success.
The lore of Apex Legends, already well supplied, is growing again through this new trailer presenting us in more detail the Legend and, above all, the reason why it was recruited to be part of the Apex Games.
We can also see again the protective wall which seems to be part of Rampart’s skills. And now we have the in-game look for Rampart as well.
Rampart Abilities
We know a lot about the abilities of Rampart before its release on August 18. Rampart has a powerful turret named Shiela. She is a defensive Legend that can create strong steel barriers for her Teammates. The in-game look reveals her moniker to be a shield. The trailer also reveals some of her usage and tactical abilities in fights though not the full kit.
Here are the abilities of Rampart detailed through leaks:
- Tactical: ‘Amped Cover’ — The cover will amp up the outgoing damage and block all incoming shots.
- Ultimate: ‘Emplaced HMG’ — She sets down her machine gun turret to allow any of her teammates to use the weapon with unlimited ammo.
- Passive: ‘Cover Fire’ — The amping up of outgoing damage from the cover is due to this passive.
Rampart's in-game character model and #ApexLegends icon art appears to have been leaked in a now-deleted Reddit post.
