What a banger of a last chapter it was for Boku No Hero Academia. Although it did not show us the fight between Deku & Heroes vs Shigaraki it was still so good! Also great news, Midnight might be alive just not well. Chapter 279 will be bringing us an epic fight and the resolution of Yaomomo & the rest of UA high vs Gigantomachia & League of Villains. The release date of Chapter 279 of Boku No Hero Academia is 2nd August, 2020. Boku No Hero Academia Chapter 279 Raw Scans & Spoilers
Chapter 279 titled League of Villains vs UA High has got its raw scans leaked from the Weekly Shonen Jump released. The chapter starts with Sero talking to Setsuna from class 1B about the situation. We see her head surveilling the position of Gigantomachia advancing towards the students. They also realise that other members of League is hiding on the back of Gigantomachia. It will be an all out battle between League and UA High.
Next panel reveals Yaomomo’s plan to stop Gigantomachia and a huge spider trap laid out from Mineta’s sticky quirk. She reveals her anaesthetic and calls it very powerful & effective enough to stop the huge monster. They don’t wanna take any chances and decide to throw the solution directly in its mouth. She distributes capsules to other students.
Gigantomachia has almost reached with Mt. Lady not giving up. The trap set up by Mineta’s quirk trips the huge body of the monster. They spread out to give it space to fall. Jirou yells every hero to get into position.
Sato and Ibara both restrain the head of Gigantomachia, Ibara’s strong vines are used by other 1B students to restrain other parts of his body. “Sleep well” is the battle cry as they are about to give him Momo’s anaesthetic.
Then there is a encounter between League Villains and other 1A students on the back of Gigantomachia. Dabi is fighting Kaminari and Jirou while everything is chaotic. Momo’s anaesthetic has little effect on the monster though but he can’t stand up. As a counter, Gigantomachia starts digging under him creating a pocket of air that almost blows everyone away!
Momo instructs everyone to get the capsules in his mouth for it to be effective. She tries really hard to do it herself but cannot get an opening. Spinner yells, “We are going underground at this speed?!”. Mt Lady then makes her move by pulling up Gigantomachia’s head and prying the jaw open! The chapter ends with League Villains surrounded by UA Students and Mineta getting ready to throw the last capsule in Gigantomachia’s mouth!
What a chapter right? Can’t wait to see it translated and up on 2nd August!
