T-Mobile/ Google Fi Pixel 2/XL and 3/XL are now receiving June 2020 security update

June security patches now rolling out for more Pixel devices

It’s already the first weekend of June. A new month means new security updates for smartphones. Well, earlier Google and Samsung started rolling out the latest June security patches for their devices. While Samsung just delivered the June security patch, Google came up with some new features drop. We also saw all those features and changes that Google brought to its devices. The overall update is a security-cum-fixes-cum-features update. Yeah, that’s right! It is indeed some kind of major update. Almost all of the Pixel devices starting from the Pixel 2 to the Pixel 4 are getting new features with these updates.

Earlier we saw that not all the devices got the update. Only a few units got the updates. Well, it seems like Google is rolling out the updates all the units after all.

June security update for T-Mobile/Google Fi Pixel 2/XL and Pixel 3/XL rolling out now

Google has been rolling out this new June update for its Pixel devices since the 1st of June itself. Well, many devices have already been picking up the updates. Well, the update indeed brings a lot of changes. This includes some of the major fixes including WiFi, Bluetooth, and a lot more as we saw earlier. Further, we also saw some of the new Pixel features drop that brings along some really cool features. Many Pixel devices are getting features like Adaptive battery enhancements, Bedtime feature in Google Clock, Car Crash Detection, Google Recorder, and Google Docs integration with the new Google Assistant, and some new Personal Safety features as well.

Pixel June 2020 update

Well, earlier we came to know that while many devices are picking up the updates, this was not the case for some carriers. Google earlier said that the Pixel 2/XL and the Pixel 3/XL on the T-Mobile network and Google Fi were currently not receiving the update. Well, the good thing is Google also said that the update will start rolling for these devices on the T-Mobile network and Google Fi as well from June 4. That’s exactly happening now!! Yes, that’s true. The Pixel 2/XL and the Pixel 3/XL are now picking up the June updates on the T-Mobile network and Google Fi as well.

If you are on the T-Mobile carrier or Google Fi and have been looking for the update, here it is. The update perhaps started rolling out from June 4 as Google said. All those users on these networks who have been waiting for the update can now enjoy all those features and change the update brings. Google Pixel June Security Update

Well, we already saw all those cool new Pixel features drop earlier that comes with the update apart from these changes. In case your device has not yet got the update, there’s nothing to worry about. You will be getting the OTA update notification quite soon. For those of you who got the update.
