As we know doppelgangers are the beings from Adella that look like the person from the main world, it seems that the first pillar is the doppelganger of Sister Iris.

Shinra comes to know more about the time when he was in Adolla and was replaced by his doppelganger. It looks like Shinra’s doppelganger hit Iris in thinking of her as the first pillar girl. It was also highlighted that Adolla is coming closer to their world. Because of it, the 2nd and 3rd generation fire users are increasing and the already fire users have their strength increased. Iris tells Shinra that she also is a 3rd generation fire user which she came to know after her power’s increased as previously her powers were too weak for her to notice. After hearing Iris, Shinra came to the conclusion of the first pillar to be the doppelganger of Iris.
Fire Force Chapter 220
As Shinra’s most answers being solved now, the next chapter would highlight more on the pillars being erected in the world and the final countdown before the cataclysm starts. We can also expect to have more answers about the doppelgangers of Shinra and Iris.
