There are many upcoming events on Animal Crossing New Horizons! Among them, you will have the chance to celebrate May 1 with May Day Event and will be able to go on a unique getaway with Dodo Airlines.
Nintendo is planning many events and activities for its latest success: Animal Crossing New Horizons! A big update was announced & dispatched on April 23 and it reveals many events planned for this spring.
Among them, the celebration of May 1 which will take place from May 1 to 7. This party will take you on a journey to new, unseen mystery islands!
The May Day celebration in Animal Crossing
From May 1 to 7, you can participate in the May 1 party on your island. Around the world, May 1 celebrates the transition from the dark season to the light season. It is also a holiday that marks Labor Day.
This event will take place at the same time as another celebration since Nature Day will be held from April 23 to May 4. All these festivities will, therefore, give pride of place to the beautiful days that are coming and mark the best of springtime in Animal Crossing New Horizons.
The May 1 getaway
Throughout the duration of the event, from May 1 to 7, you can discover a very special mystery island thanks to the May 1 escapade offered by Dodo Airlines.
These getaways will be offered for a limited time and only during this period. Nintendo has not yet specified whether it will be possible to make a single getaway or whether it will be possible to make several getaways throughout the duration of the event. Likewise, getaways and mystery islands are normally available for 2,000 Nook Miles, but we do not know if this rule will apply to the May 1 getaway.
For the moment, it is impossible to know everything that it will be possible to discover these new special islands. However, the new elements that arrive with the Day of Nature, such as shrubs and seeds, will certainly be available in abundance.
Lily of the valley for May 1?
While many might expect Lily of the valley to appear on May 1st, nothing has yet been confirmed by Nintendo. To date, the only way to get thrush in Animal Crossing New Horizons is to get a 5-star rating on its island.
Rover
One of the first characters introduced in the game, you will also get the chance to converse with Rover so don’t miss this opportunity. The purpose of Rover is still unclear though.
