Animal Crossing: New Horizons Bunny Day Event Egg Guide

The bunny day celebrates the easter time at your own paradise island and it makes things a little better for easter as most of us are quarantined at home, saving the world from the coronavirus pandemic. New Horizons has plenty of new craft items that you can make for this limited time. So here is a guide of how to collect all the eggs present in the game. So here we go.

Event Dates and Times

The game is respecting their current situation as for the first time their event will be longer than a day. Bunny event is gonna last till April 12th, that is for a total of 12 days, you can hunt as many eggs you want. You will need to connect your Nintendo Switch to your Nintendo Profile and download the latest update 1.1.1a to activate Bunny day event.

Starting and Finding the Eggs Bunny Day

Zipper T.Bunny sounds like a rapper’s name but he is the one you have to go for if you have to start the event. He will be found wandering at the Plaza. After you talk to him, you will learn the details of the fun Easter event and will be tasked to find eggs hidden all over the island.
There is going to be a new DIY recipe every day. 18 recipes! Yes, you heard it right. You have to find 18 DIY recipes hidden on the island and you can start off by shooting the balloon for a present. You can also get it from a message bottle, Talking to the villagers and coming up with new recipes while finding the eggs.

Earth Eggs & Leaf Eggs

You know how you dug up fossils on the island, you can find Earth eggs buried the same way. The fossils/earth eggs are marked by star mark. Dig the eggs with a fossil.
Leaf eggs can be found on fruitless Cherry Blossom trees, they may look similar to fruits but have a pattern on them if you look closely. Just shake em’ lose.

Sky eggs, Stone eggs, Water eggs & Wood eggs

Sky eggs are with floating present looking like the shape of guessing what, an egg. Slingshots can be used to shoot down and get them.
Stone eggs can be found in stones, of course! Just go to a cluster and hit the stones to get some stone eggs.
Water eggs can be found fishing in the pond, ocean or rivers. If you see an egg-shaped shadow in the water, catch it!
To get Wood eggs you need to equip your axe and hit trees across the island and Voila!

So? what are you waiting for? Go collect them and find our recipe list here!
