When calls the Heart is a Canadian American family drama which is inspired by the book with the same name, this is taken by Janette Oke, from the same name Canadiana west series and is developed by Michael Landon Jr. The very first episode premiered on January 11, 2014, at Hallmark channel.
If we gather our knowledge and pen down certain basic facts about the story plot of this series, we will see that this series is the story of Elizabeth Thatcher, who is shown as a young teacher. She is allowed to go to high society for some work. This place is not meant to be good in terms of life challenging problems. She experienced culture shock when she got her first assignment in the Coal Valley. This town is not so good; it is filled with mining factories. In fact the people who live here or rather we can say who work in those mining factories had to face lots of problems in their daily life.
Certain other things have also taken place in this town. Things have changed a lot due to a recent explosion, and this explosion took away dozens of lives. The workers lost their lives while working in the factories. And in all of this, there is a lady named Abigail Stanton( she is the wife of a foreman, who was doing his duty at the site during the explosion).
She came forward to help Elizabeth and find her way out to adjust in the customs of the place. But on the other hand, there is a police constable named Jack Thornton. He is a bit rude and an angry young man who is not at all happy in welcoming Elizabeth. The main reason behind him being rude to her was her rich dad, who has used his powers, and he doomed his career by assigning Jack a responsibility to take proper care of his daughter and posted him to this place(coal valley).

In the upcoming episode, we will see that Elizabeth will be quite excited about the trip that Lucas asked her to join. But due to some of her reasons, she will say no to him, and Lucas will take it in the wrong way. But then Rosemary will be seen convincing Elizabeth to go, and she will also make her understand that she will take full care of little Jack until she returns. Then Elizabeth will go for the trip, and there she will face herself from her feelings that are growing for Lucas. Again it will be difficult for Rosemary to handle little Jack.
