Anivia – changed-

Anivia remained almost untouched in the past patches and with the buzz created around the hero due to the update has interested many players to try out the mid champion.

You are going to see Anivia a lot in the upcoming pub games as one of the biggest problem in the champion was that you had to very carefully use the ultimate but now that the ultimate can no longer be canceled, a drawn out battle against Anivia would be very difficult. The Frostbite duration has also increased, these changes amount to making a comeback for Anivia in the PRO scene.

Tactical advantage with playing Anivia where she blocks the minions pathing them into the jungle has always been prevalent in pub games but now that she is more reliant because of her changes this tactic can be scene in professional games as soon as April. The patch changes takes about 2 months to reach pro scene because players need time to practice the changes. It will take some time and testing to see if the Anivia we see in PBE will join the main game or not.

this is too op xD?

Glacial Storm (R):

Anivia’s ultimate is no longer cancelled by CC (of any type)
The ultimate’s Frostbite now lasts for the same amount of time as the Q’s Frostbite

Item Changes- Death’s Dance-

Recipe:

  • New! This item’s recipe is now: [Aegis of the Legion + Vampiric Scepter + Caulfield’s Warhammer + 500g]

Cost:

  • Total cost increased to 3600 from 3500

Effects:

  • AD decreased to 50 from 80
  • New! +30 armor
  • New! +30 magic resist

Unique Passive:

  • New! 20% of damage taken will now apply as a bleed effect for ranged Champ players

Besides the champion, cosmetic and item changes there is another cool thing that RIOT decided to re-introduce in this patch.

One for All hits back-
An arcade-y game mode that makes a surprise return to legends. The mode is a 5v5 battle where the players select the same champion and go into a classic battle royale- the game mode has been missing for two years and is back on the PBE for testing for a limited time.

One For All is now active on PBE!

There are a bunch of new faces to see and new combos to try, from Sett's bounce-house to the Yuumi mothership! We're also experimenting with a number of changes to make games quicker and smoother.
