Simulation games are all about providing an authentic experience depicting real life via a screen. Similarly, in RoadCraft, you get to play the role of a leader of an infrastructure development company who fixes things. You will be traversing various terrains, fixing buildings, completing missions, and more. But if you are using a mouse and keyboard or controller setup, you might be losing out on the fun part. RoadCraft does support a variety of steering wheels and these devices just make the game far more immersive. So, if you are thinking of buying a new steering wheel for the game or are curious to know whether the one you already have is compatible with the game, this is just the guide you need. Here, we have shared everything regarding which steering wheels are supported by RoadCraft.
We have seen recent reports from players stating that the connected steering wheel isn’t getting recognized by the game. For unsupported devices, that’s somewhat expected. But players with Xbox controllers have also reported the same. So, we have shared a bunch of workarounds in this guide as well that will help you get rid of this issue.

Fanatec

Anyway, with that out of the way, now let’s talk about the steering wheel not being recognized by the game issue. The primary reason why this problem occurs is that Steam Input is enabled for the game. To disable, all you have to do is go to Steam, access Library, and then right-click on RoadCraft. Now, select Properties, and in the Controller tab, click on the drop-down button and select the Disable Steam Input option next to the Override option. Once done, launch the game, connect your controller, and then check whether the issue persists. Also, do note that you must remove all the other connected input devices from your PC before you connect your controller.
