My Summer Car Unable to Start Car Issue Is there any fix yet (2)

Your car, Satsuma, is your everything in My Summer Car. And if for some unfortunate reason, the car does not start, there is no adventure. So, what is going on under the hood? And most importantly, what is the issue? Let’s take a deeper dive and see if there is any fix for the car not starting issue that you might be facing in My Summer Car.

Here is the scenario: You build your car, fix and wire it up. You are all set to go and when you fire the engine, it just won’t start. In most of the tries, it might look like the car will start with some hopeful cranking sounds but alas, that does not happen. It might seem that the car does start but it fails to stay turned on for a little more than a few seconds. Well, here’s what can be done to fix this.

Even with the game’s full release, this old issue is yet to be addressed. Perhaps with some future updates, we will have it fixed once and for all. Anyway, assuming you have a full tank, here are some potential fixes that could ignite the pistons.

Check Wiring and Starter Installation

Double-check all the wiring connections in the car, especially those for the starter motor. A single missed or improperly connected wire can be the reason your car won’t even make a sound when you try to start it. Pay close attention to the starter’s bolts—some bolts secure it to the engine and another one connects the starter motor wire. If any of these are loose or missing, the system won’t work as intended. Taking a few extra minutes to confirm everything is bolted down correctly can save a lot of frustration.

Inspect the Battery

The battery is another common issue, so make sure it’s properly installed and securely attached with the proper bolts. If you’re unsure about the battery’s condition, use a charger to test its life—if the needle is pointing to the right, it’s dead and will need replacing. Remember, always attach both the positive and negative terminals; leaving just the black negative terminal tightened can cause problems.

Verify Fuel and Spark Plugs

Next up, make sure the tank is filled up and check for any leaks that might be caused by loose bolts. Tighten everything up to avoid any further issues. Also, don’t forget to inspect the spark plugs. They need to be properly installed and tightened with a spark plug wrench. Even if everything else is in order, loose or missing spark plugs can completely prevent the engine from firing up.

Address Engine Components

Sometimes, the issue isn’t as simple as wiring or fuel—it could be a worn or loose engine part causing the trouble. Check components like the rocker shaft and make sure it’s not broken. Similarly, the distributor screw should be fully tightened to ensure the timing is correct. If the crankshaft or fuel pump shows signs of wear, you might need to replace them.

Tune the Engine

If your car starts but struggles to stay running, it might just need a bit of tuning. Pull out the choke to help the engine warm up, and gently press the throttle without over-revving the engine. Keep an eye on the temperature gauge and wait until it reaches around 80 °C. This can stabilize the engine and get it running smoothly. If the problem persists, inspect parts like the fuel pump or crankshaft, as they might be the culprits.

Apart from these, you can try generic fixes like restarting, verifying the game files, etc but they have not been effective so far. That said, this is all we have to share about this issue. We hope that you were able to start and drive the car without any issues. Stay tuned to DigiStatement for more gaming content and here is how you can drive the tractor in the game.
