Farming Simulator 25 Milostar Header What is it & How to use (2)

Farming Simulator 25 will have you role-playing as a farmer to hyper-realistic details. Imagine being a farmer with acres of land to till and harvest. You will not be doing it manually and certainly use some form of machinery to make the process easier. But just like in the real world, the game gives you many options with the tools and vehicles to use during your farming. Now the task is to be familiar with these types of equipment and get to know which one to use when. That brings us to the Milostar Header. What is it? And how do you use it? We have all the answers for you.

To give you some context, both in real-life farming and in Farming Simulator 25, harvesters are vehicles that do what their names say: harvest crops. Now the twist here is that these harvesters are usually equipped with specialized headers that determine what crops can be harvested and how efficiently. Grain headers handle crops like wheat, barley, and sorghum, while corn headers focus on corn and sunflowers. Anyway, the point is, in the game, as in reality, choosing the right harvester and header combo is important to maximize productivity.

So, in Farming Simulator 25, the new Milostar Header is a new specialty header that is designed specifically for sorghum harvesting. What sets it apart is the boost in harvest speed. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what sets it apart from standard headers and how to get the most out of it:

Difference Between Milostar and Grain Headers

A Milostar header is better than a regular grain header. To begin with, take the example of sorghum. Sorghum, if harvested with a normal grain header, can give you operating speeds of up to 6 mph. The Milostar header, on the other hand, is a bit faster, allowing you to reach harvest speeds up to 8 mph. This may not look like a significant bump but when you are harvesting acres of land, this small increase of 2 mph can make the difference.

When to Use the Milostar Header?

The Milostar shines with smaller harvesters that may struggle to operate larger grain headers efficiently. It doesn’t require specific horsepower, so it works well even when combined with lower power. While the Milostar offers a speed boost, it doesn’t improve yield. Expect the same output whether using the Milostar or a standard grain header, so it’s best for those focusing on efficiency rather than maximizing crop variety. So all in all, you would want to use The Milostar header on smaller harvesters over other grain headers, especially while harvesting sorghum if efficiency is all you care about.

How to use the Milostar Header?

To use the Milostar header in Farming Simulator 25, attach it to your harvester just as you would with any other header. It works best with smaller harvesters, as it’s optimized for speed. Simply connect the Milostar header, lower it, and turn it on to start harvesting at the increased speed. Just be mindful to use smaller, lower-powered harvesters.
