Tiny Glade Steam Deck, Lenovo Legion Go & Asus Rog Ally Support Details (2)

After various demos, Tiny Glade’s official full release is finally out now, and so far, the reviews have been overwhelmingly positive on Steam. One look at the gameplay, and it’s easy to see why! The game looks incredibly relaxing, with its theme and cozy aesthetics. As a building sim focused solely on designing castles and cottages, it can be a perfect way to unwind after a long day or an intense gaming session. Now, if you’re interested in trying out Tiny Glade, especially on handheld devices, we’re here to share all the compatibility details of the game with the Steam Deck, Lenovo Legion Go, and Asus ROG Ally. So, consider reading until the end.

With handheld platforms becoming increasingly popular, many farming, building, and other light-hearted sims with modest graphics have found their way to these devices to capture the growing market. So, does Tiny Glade take a similar route? Is it Deck Verified, and how does it perform on the Steam Deck, Lenovo Legion Go, and Asus ROG Ally? Let’s find out.

Steam Deck

Tiny Glade is not officially Deck Verified or labeled as Playable on the Steam Deck. However, there is a Steam OS/Linux section in the system requirements tab on its store page, which hints at potential compatibility. In addition to this, player reports on the game’s Steam discussion page brought light to the fact that the game does indeed run on the Deck. If you take a look at the ProtonDB entries, it also has many players confirming that the game works, although some tweaks may be required to ensure smooth performance. For example, the native Linux version frequently crashes on launch, but switching to Proton 9.0-3 resolves this issue. One of the game developers also shared the following:

“The native version should work too, but only if you run the Stable version of Steam Deck’s system software.”

Performance may not be fully optimized, but limiting the FPS to 60 helps with battery life. The game lacks native controller support, so you will have to use the Steam Deck’s emulated mouse and keyboard controls, which work well, with the trackpads being quite handy. Finally, to drive the point home, there are also gameplay videos present that clearly show the game running on the Deck. In a nutshell, Tiny Glade will run on your Steam Deck, but it does require some tinkering to get the best experience!

Asus Rog Ally and Lenovo Legion Go

For the Lenovo Legion Go and Asus ROG Ally, there is no official verification for Tiny Glade compatibility. However, considering that these devices are more powerful than the Steam Deck, they should have no problem running the game, especially given its modest system requirements. The main challenge lies with the lack of full controller support, which may require you to tweak around and make adjustments. Luckily, players have found workarounds, such as lowering joystick sensitivity and customizing button mapping for a better experience. Some are even creating and sharing their layouts to enhance gameplay on these devices. So if you have these devices, keep an eye on these player reports for more tweaks to optimize the game on your handheld. All in all, you should be able to play the game on both the Rog Ally and Legion Go as well.

Anyway, that is all the information we have regarding the same. We hope this was helpful. Now, before you leave, don’t forget to bookmark DigiStatement for more gaming content like this. Also, click here to find out if Zoochosis, another recent release, runs on these handheld devices.
