Overwatch 2 Community crafted patch notes for today & more details

Nearly all the Overwatch 2 heroes have undergone reworks in the Community Crafted Mode. To keep things simple, we’ve provided a table listing all the adjustments for easy reference. But before diving into those details, here are some of the major changes you should know about. These hero tweaks not only alter key abilities but also shake up gameplay strategies, making them essential for adapting to the new meta.

Major Changes

Tank heroes like Doomfist and Orisa have seen ability overhauls, with Doomfist’s Meteor Strike scaling damage based on air time and Orisa gaining a new crowd-control ability, Halt!, which adds more strategic depth. Roadhog now pulls himself towards enemies rather than dragging them in, significantly altering his playstyle. On the DPS side, Bastion now explodes on death, adding posthumous damage, while Reaper can use Wraith Form during Death Blossom, giving him more survivability during his ultimate. Cassidy’s Combat Roll now cleanses debuffs and heals him, providing him with more resilience in battle. Tracer and Widowmaker have had adjustments to health and weapon mechanics, affecting their combat efficiency. For support, Mercy’s Resurrect is temporarily timed after revival, while Zenyatta can now fly during Transcendence, increasing his mobility. Lifeweaver and Illari have gained multi-charge abilities, improving their flexibility in healing and positioning. These changes across tanks, DPS, and supports aim to shake up the meta, making these heroes more dynamic and encouraging players to adapt new strategies. While this is just a brief overview, check the table below for the full patch notes.
