Are you not satisfied with the overall graphics that Once Human has to offer right now? You might be used to taking advantage of features like DLSS and FSR to boost the frame rates and graphical quality of the game. But, as you know, these features are not available out of the box in all games. On that note, Once Human also seems to be one of those games that comes without the support for DLSS or FSR at the time of writing this article. So, when will it be available? Keep reading till the end to find out!
It is easy to understand why you and many other players like yourself want DLSS and FSR support in Once Human. To keep it simple, these technologies can improve game performance and graphics. So far, we have heard reports from players related to performance issues and FPS drops in the game, and DLSS and FSR could potentially help make the game run smoother and look better. But what have the officials said regarding these missing features?
Once Human DLSS & FSR support: When it will be available
Luckily, on this front, the developers have provided some updates in their FAQ section. Here’s what they have to say about it!
When will it be available?
In the FAQ section, a question was posed about when Once Human will support DLSS and FSR. The developers responded by saying,
“We are working hard to implement DLSS, and we expect to bring this feature to everyone in August. Thank you for your understanding.”
So far, they have only clearly mentioned DLSS and not FSR. This means we don’t have concrete confirmation about FSR or whether it will be present in the game. DLSS, however, is confirmed to be on the way. DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) is a technology developed by NVIDIA that uses AI to boost frame rates while maintaining high visual quality. So if you have an NVIDIA graphics card (RTX models), sooner or later you will be able to use DLSS in-game. But unlike DLSS, FSR can work on a wider range of GPUs, including those from NVIDIA. Players using AMD GPUs or those with lower-end systems are particularly keen on FSR support to ensure they can enjoy smoother gameplay. However, since the developers have not specifically mentioned FSR in their communication, we cannot be sure if or when this feature will be added to the game.
Interestingly, in response to a different question, the developers stated the following:
We will introduce DLSS/FSR/XeSS and other super-resolution technologies to reduce GPU load and alleviate heat generation in early August.
Since they did mention FSR and XeSS, it seems quite likely that they will include them along with DLSS.
Release date?
As for the timeline, while there is no confirmed release date, the developers have clearly stated that DLSS support is expected to arrive in August. This is part of a broader set of updates and features planned for the game during that month. August appears to be a significant period for Once Human, with multiple enhancements and additions slated for release. Keep in touch with official channels for updates on the exact release date!
In a nutshell, while DLSS is confirmed to be coming to Once Human, FSR’s inclusion remains uncertain, for now. That said, we hope all your doubts on this matter are cleared!
