Dual Wield Weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0

The magnum opus from CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077, is a brilliant title that caught the attention of the players upon its release. For players who enjoy the cyberpunk content, this game was definitely monumental, although it did come with its fair share of bugs and errors. Eventually, it rightfully became a popular title in the world of RPG games. Following the mild success of Cyberpunk 2077, the developers have released a brand new expansion to the game, titled Phantom Liberty. CRPD has also rolled out a major patch update for Cyberpunk 2077 that brought new in-game mechanics along with tons of changes and improvements. Now, if you are new and as you explore the game, you’d probably want to know more about all the different gameplay mechanics, such as dual-wielding a weapon. Consider reading this article until the end to find out if you can dual-wield weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0.

Cyberpunk 2077 stood out for a number of reasons. The game had a fairly engaging story that the players could explore, and there’s more. It also featured unique and intense action sequences with a plethora of weaponry, high-quality visuals, and more. Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 has built on the already-developed premise and brought in new changes. Dual-wielding weapons have always been a feature that fans have been curious about since the game’s initial release. After patch 2.0, many are wondering about the same. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at whether dual-wielding weapons are possible in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0.

How to Dual Wield Weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0?

Dual Wield Weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0

If you’ve been playing CP 2077 for quite some time, then you must have noticed that some in-game characters found during quests dual-wield weapons. Many players thought that this meant that even the playable character (V) could dual-wield weapons. However, that was not the case, as V (the game’s protagonist) didn’t have the ability to dual-wield weapons. This was definitely annoying for some players, who could not understand why the developers chose not to allow this feature. However, many expected that whenever a major patch update would be released, the developers would add this feature as it was in high demand.

Well, as it turns out, once again, the developers did not offer this feature to the players, even after the release of the 2.0 update. Fans have been really surprised by this, as we can see from their reactions on different forums. A player named JOY asked on the game’s Steam discussion forum if the feature of dual-wielding weapons has been added, as they have noticed one or two side characters with dual-wield pistols. To everyone’s surprise, this is limited to some NPCs only.

Can you carry multiple weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0?

Although you cannot dual-wield weapons in the game, you can still carry multiple weapons and toggle between them during a fight. You can carry up to three weapons and even use melee attacks while in combat. This way, even though you can’t dual-wield weapons, you can still carry all your favorite weapons and use them according to your choice based on the ongoing situation.

So, this is all there is to know about how to dual-wield weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0. Hopefully, this article answers your queries thoroughly. For more such gaming-related content and guides, keep visiting DigiStatement!
