Round8 Studio and NeoWiz Games’ highly anticipated souls-like title, Lies of P, has finally landed on all major platforms except for the Switch. Officially released on September 19, 2023, Lies of P is inspired by Carlo Collodi’s novel, The Adventures of Pinocchio. Well, there had been a considerable amount of hype around it, and judging from the reviews, it seems that the hype was justified. Remnant 2 was the last major Souls-like before the release of Lies of P. Unlike most games in the genre, Remnant 2 emphasized ranged combat more. The weapons mentioned here aren’t ranked, and honestly, not ranking them is the best way to go about it. Every player has different playstyles, so there can’t be a designated number one weapon. Plus, Lies of P is souls-like and your skill and reflex matter a lot more than what you have as a weapon.
Booster Glaive
The Booster Glaive consists of two parts: the Booster Glaive Blade and the Booster Glaive Handle. The enticing thing about this weapon is that it offers great crowd control. And since the game doesn’t have many of those lying around, the demand for Booster Glaive significantly increases.
Acidic Crystal Spear
This weapon consists of the Acidic Crystal Spear Blade and Handle. Technically, the Acidic Crystal Spear is categorized as a dagger in-game. Aside from all that, ACS has great poking potential and, as the name suggests, is capable of inflicting acidic damage with each strike.
Two Dragons Sword
The Two Dragons Sword is a boss weapon. While it does resemble a Katana, in actuality it’s a Hwando. Now, unlike most weapons in this list, the Two Dragons Sword can’t be disassembled. Just keep advancing through the story, and you will be able to obtain it soon enough.
Puppet’s Saber
In most games, starting weapons get kind of obsolete soon. The Puppet’s Saber doesn’t, however. While not as powerful as some of the other weapons on this list, it’s good enough that you can rely on it for much of the game’s later stages.
Salamander Dagger
The Salamander Dagger is the second dagger in this list. Unlike the previous one, this one deals fire damage. If you want something that can deal quick poking damage, get this one. Plus, the Ignite ability that comes with the Salamander Dagger is one of the best fable arts.
