Officially released on August 24, 2023 players can get it either by hatching an Urban Egg or, as usual, by taking the trading route. The Urban Egg itself is also a limited legendary egg and was introduced into the game on the same day as the Gargoyle.
Taking the place of the Danger Egg, players can obtain the Urban Egg for about $750 Bucks. Once you have gotten hold of that amount of money, go to the Nursery and then head over to the Gumball Machine to get an Urban Egg. Also, simply getting the Urban Egg doesn’t mean that it will automatically give you the Gargoyle. The pet rarity chances of the Urban Egg are shown below:

- Uncommon – 25% (Tawny Frogmouth, Rock Pigeon)
- Rare – 20% (Indian Leopard, Toy Poodle)
- Ultra Rare – 16% (Alley Cat, Seagull)
- Legendary – 4% (Billy Goat, Gargoyle)
As you can see for yourself, a lot is dependent on your luck. Only a 4% chance to get a legendary pet, and that too is shared by another legendary pet. After getting the Urban Egg, you better start praying to the RNGesus so that you can get the Gargoyle on your first hatching. If you do obtain one, you can teach it various tricks.
