The Legend of Zelda has been popular in the gaming community for decades and continues to garner more players. With the latest release of Tears of the Kingdom, fans are eager to dive into the magical world of Hyrule once again. Developed and published by Nintendo, the game offers an open-world adventure for players to experience. The newest addition to the series is the sequel to the beloved ‘Breath of the Wild’. The game allows players to explore the world and discover new places. Players can do that using various modes of transport available in the game, along with their own wing gliders. However, getting the hang of a wing glider can get tricky. In this article, we will be telling you how to use the wing glider in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is an action-adventure game that lives up to its hype. Players from all around the world have shown massive love for the game and its series because of what it has to offer. The game allows players to roam around freely via the vehicles available in the game or by equipping gliders. We will be discussing how to use the wing glider to travel the world of Hyrule in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, so keep reading!

The protagonist, Link, can equip a paraglider or a Zonai device: the wing glider, to travel around via air. Though paragliders are great for going down a mountain or an elevated area, they are slow and don’t cover much distance. However, the Wing Glider covers more area and is sturdier than the paragliders, making them a good choice for travel.

Once you get your hands on the wing glider, you may wonder how to use it or even get it in the air. Unlike paragliders, wing gliders require you to be seated on top of them. Since they are huge and have no steering, it can be tricky to fly them. One thing you will need during your wing glider journey is a Zonai fan. Attach the fan to the tail of the glider using Ultrahand, although this will not immediately help the glider fly.

The trick is to use Ultrahand, to lift the wing glider up in the air near a cliff. Now, once you’ve elevated the glider, do not make the mistake of jumping on it right away. Take the glider in the direction you want to go using Ultrahand, push it a bit further from land, and bring it back. This next step is extremely important: stand in the middle of the glider and use the Recall ability. Players who are familiar with this ability already know where this is going. You’ll start moving forward on the glider, and once you reach the end before you move backward, deactivate the ability immediately. You now have the wing glider in the air.

To steer the wing glider, just walk toward the direction you wish to go and then go back to standing in the middle for it to go straight. The fan you attached to the glider earlier will be helpful in giving you a push and keeping you in the air for a long time if you activate it. This is extremely useful when you have to travel long distances. One very important thing to keep in mind is that this wing glider will eventually disappear after some time, so make sure to use it strategically.

Anyway, this brings us to the end of the guide, and we hope the information provided above was helpful. Before leaving, make sure to check out DigiStatement for more interesting tips and updates about your favorite games!
