Torchlight: Infinite is finally out of its open beta stage and is now available globally for fans of the series and the ARPG genre. Launched on 9th May 2023, the game was in the open beta phase from 12th October 2022. Published and developed by XD Inc., Torchlight: Infinite is the fourth installment in the long-running Torchlight series. Right now, TI is one of the few competitors to the massively popular Diablo Immortal, along with Undecember. Over the years, the Torchlight series has changed a lot ever since its creator studio – Runic Games got shut down in 2017. This fourth game in the series plans to right the wrongs of many past mistakes made in previous games while providing a fun and familiar Torchlight experience. However, some players have been facing a log in issue, making for a not-so-fun time but rather an annoying and frustrating one.
Torchlight: Infinite was mainly developed as a mobile title. But later on, a Windows version was also made available for players on 5th September 2022. Those who want can download the game right now on both Android and iOS platforms, along with Windows. Now, as great and fun as TI may be, it does suffer from issues. But this type of issue isn’t just limited to just Torchlight Infinite. Lots of games, especially the ones which require you to be online, are susceptible to such an issue. Don’t worry though. This problem can be solved thanks to some pretty good fixes.
Torchlight: Infinite Unable to Log In Issue: Is there any fix yet
There are a myriad of causes behind this unable to log in issue. It could range from a simple internet connection problem to issues with your account itself. And so, we recommend that you follow the following methods one by one.
Check your internet connection –
Let’s start with a basic troubleshooting method. Since it’s a login issue, it’s better that you check your internet connection first. Look to it that the speed is good and there are no major interferences. You can also restart your router. And if you happen to be using mobile data, try switching to Wi-Fi and vice-versa.
Bind your game to a new Google account –
Some players were able to deal with the issue by binding their game to a new Google account. Ensure that this is a previously unused account, too.
Bind to a new Google account and then rebind to your previous account –
Additionally, you can also try this method if the previous one doesn’t work. Once you have bound the game to a new Google/TapTap/Apple account, unbind your Steam account(if you have one). After this, make sure to log off from your Gmail account. Next, restart the game via Steam, and you will be redirected to rebind your previously used account, which has all the progress saved to it. After this process, try logging in.
Restart Torchlight: Infinite –
Another basic troubleshooting method is to just restart the game when you encounter this issue. Although it is not guaranteed to 100% fix this problem, it could still prove to be an effective solution.
Turn off VPN –
Players who are using a VPN when playing TI are recommended to turn it off. VPNs are known to slow down your internet speed and interfere with your connection. So, disable your VPN and then try logging in.
