Wild Hearts is an action-packed, role-playing, and monster-hunting game. The game features a surreal, dreamlike atmosphere set in a fantasy world. It is a game that many fans of other hunting games are excited to play. The game was recently released to a relatively positive reception. However, not everything has been smooth sailing for this as is the case with most new releases. Likewise, some players are reporting issues as well as bugs in the game. An issue that is very common is the game’s audio not working properly. If you are someone who is facing this issue, you have come to the right place. This article is therefore regarding the availability of a fix for Wild Hearts sound/audio not working issue.
What is the sound or audio not working issue in Wild Hearts?
The sound or audio not working issue in video games is a common occurrence. Due to this issue, the in-game sound completely stops in some sections of the game. Consequently, it can be quite disruptive when the sound is normal for some sections but not in specific scenarios. Therefore, knowing how to resolve this is important. You can find out if there are fixes for this below.
Wild Hearts Sound/Audio Not Working Issue: Is there any fix yet?
Unfortunately, there is currently no official fix available for this issue in the game. This may be disappointing for many players. However, there is a workaround that might fix the issue. In order to follow this workaround, all you have to do is to limit the game’s framerate to 60 FPS. Likewise, limiting the framerate to 60 FPS can resolve the inconsistent sound issue. The game seems to run into a sound issue when the frame rate fluctuates higher than 60 FPS. Thus, locking the frame rate is a good idea until an official fix is available. You can lock the frame rate from the in-game settings by going to the Graphics tab of the Settings menu. Then, you can change the FPS limit to 60 and also enable VSync.
After this, make sure to switch to the 7.1/5.1 surround sound audio output. You can do this by accessing the Audio tab in the Settings menu. By following these steps, you should be able to fix the Audio not working issue in Wild Hearts, until an official fix is released.
