Turn off FideltyFX CAS

The number one solution that has worked for some fans is turning off the FideltyFX CAS option from the Quality tab in the Graphic settings of the game. When players did it, they agreed that the memory error did not occur for them. Seeing this, it is a good option that you should try too.

Check internet connection

Although it is rare, this error has been encountered by players who have a poor internet connection. This is why you should also make sure that you have good quality internet while playing the game. If it is poor, find ways to better your connection online.

Update PC

Sometimes, there are chances that your PC is not up to date with the latest software version. This could be one reason that your game is showing errors like this. To update your PC manually, head over to the Windows settings > Updates and Security > Install update if available. Let the update finish and relaunch your game to see if the problem persists. There are quite a lot of chances that this should also fix the problem.

Delete saved game files

One more method you can try is to delete your saved game files. Although doing this means you will be starting from scratch, it is better than facing random errors keeping you from playing the game.

Verify the integrity of game files

Doing this method has also helped quite some people, and this is why you should try it for yourself too. This way, if any of your game files are corrupt, this method should fix that and your memory error might also go away.

To do this on Steam, head over to the game from the Steam library > Right-click on it > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.

For Battlenet users, click the settings icon close to the “Play” button > Select “Scan and Repair” > Select “Begin Scan”. Doing this would repair your files if they need be, and your error should go away after you relaunch the game.

Update Graphics Driver

There are also chances that the Graphics driver in your PC might be outdated. This interferes with the game’s graphics and it even displays game errors like memory errors. Although the drivers are automatically updated, you may still want to update yours manually.

To do this, head over to the Windows settings > Device manager > Display adapters > Select the one that you use (AMD or NVIDIA) > Right-click on it > Select “Update driver”. This would update your drivers to the latest version. Wait for some time, restart your PC and then relaunch the game.

Disable/Switch Antivirus

There are also chances that your Antivirus is treating some part files of the game as a threat. This is why it might be attacking its software, which could cause a memory error. To fix this, try to go into your Windows Security settings and disable your Antivirus. Do that and try to relaunch your game. If this does not work for you, try to include the game in the exception list of the Antivirus. After this, launch the game, and see if the error is fixed.

Clear cache on Xbox

At times, the cache in your Xbox console could also prove stressful for the game. This in turn starts the error in many games. So, all you need to do is unplug your Xbox console from the socket for 5 minutes. After this, plug it back in and the cache will be cleared. Now, launch the game.

Turn off crossplay

You can even try to disable the Crossplay option on your console. Doing this has also been said to remove the error. Make sure you try this for yourself.

Try switching User/Account

You can also try to switch to a different account to solve this problem. To do this, simply log out of your account and switch to a different user and play the game. That way you can see if the problem is with your user account or with your console itself.

Restart game

You should also try to restart the game and then see if the problem persists for you. This way if the system required a small reboot, then you would know. Doing this should also help you fix the error.

Reinstall game

If all the methods have failed for you so far then, you should go ahead and do a complete reinstall of the game. You can do this according to the different platforms that you use. Reinstall the game and relaunch the game to see if the error is fixed.

Report the error to the support team

Finally, if everything has failed so far, then the only option left is to report this issue to the official Activision Support team. Doing this will surely increase the chances of the error getting solved by developers. This way they will know what the fans are battling with.
