You can level up your pokemon or catch powerful ones with the help of Pokeballs and there are plenty of them. There are many types of such pokeballs and the Beast ball is one special Pokeball that many veteran and newbie players aim for. The Beast ball came into existence in the seventh generation and appeared in several other pokemon games. Are you wondering how you can get your hands on Beast Ball in this newly released title? Then this short article will prove helpful to you.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet (SV) How to get Beast Balls

While almost every item and Pokeball have some use depending on how the player approaches it, sadly it isn’t the case for Beast Ball. It was originally used for catching Ultra Beast Pokemon, sadly there are no pokemon in Scarlet & Violet that you can use it on to get additional benefits. In other words, it serves no use other than a nostalgic memento of the past. Sadly the effectiveness of this Pokeball is below average and it is not recommended to catch pokemon with it. You might be thinking what’s the purpose of this ball and why devs added it to the game? For collectors, it is an item that is worth hunting for and you can see it as an Easter Egg. If you wish to obtain Beast Ball, see the next section below.

How to get Beast Balls in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet?

At the moment, there are two ways that you can get your hands on Beast Balls in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. The first way is by completing the Pokedex by capturing 400 pokemon at least once in the game. For some, this might be cumbersome but for collectors who take pride in their Pokedex, it shouldn’t be that hard. Once you complete this requirement, then return to Jacq the homeroom teacher. Interact with him and he’ll bestow you a Beast Ball as a reward for fulfilling the Pokedex. Or you can access your Pokedex after getting 400 pokemon to receive the item.

Another way of acquiring Beast Ball in the game is by completing the Academy Ace Tournament. The only way to participate in this tournament is by completing the game once and fighting against every gym leader available. We hope that you enjoyed reading this article.
