Apart from playing the game for the sake of completing its storyline, players play it for the visuals too. The players seek a balance between all the aspects of a game. It ranges from the plot of the game to the visual appearance of the characters. In Bayonetta 3 too, the developers have provided the gamers with the option to change the outfits of the characters, including the protagonist. If you are among the players who are confused about how to use this feature in the game, then you are at the right place. We are here with a guide to explain how to change outfit in Bayonetta 3.

Bayonetta 3: How to change outfit

Changing outfits is not a difficult task at all in Bayonetta 3, but many players are actually unaware of how to navigate to the Costume menu. Follow the given steps in order to do so. First, go to the Levels section of the Chapter Select screen. There will be an instance where Bayonetta will choose the next location with the help of a dart arrow. During this, you need to press the ‘-‘ button on your NS controller. Doing so will navigate you to the Rodin’s Gates of Hell Shop. While in the shop, select the ‘Rodin’s Treasures’ option. From there, you can buy new Mirrors as well as Costumes. These costumes cost 4000 Halos per costume. For those who do not know, Halo is the in-game currency in Bayonetta 3.

Now, in order to change outfit, enter any level of the game. Then, you need to press the ‘-‘ button on your controller. This will result in the appearance of a menu in front of you on the screen. With the help of the ‘L’ and ‘R’ buttons on the controller, you can traverse in between the available costumes. After this, you can choose the outfit of your choice. You can also try to customize a few other appearance-related features in the game, like the colors of the costumes. Note that there are eight costumes for Bayonetta in this game. Among those eight costumes, there are two costumes that you can purchase only if you have finished Bayonetta 1 as well as Bayonetta 2 before and have your data stored on your Switch. If that’s not the case, then you need to finish Bayonetta 3 completely once, after which you will be able to purchase these two costumes at 4000 Halos each.
