January 26: Dice studios recently posted a blog on the official website giving a few details about the upcoming update in Battlefield 5. Last month, the developers dropped new content with the release of chapter 5, which included a new map, new weapons, and a lot more. With the upcoming update, Dice studios looks forward to bring chapter 6 in the game, which will again bring new content for the players.
Battlefield 5 Update 6.0 –
So, what’s coming with the new update?
The update will include new content, bug-fixes, and significant changes. In the blog, @PartWelsh (Freeman) mentioned that the update would include Vehicle Balancing changes and maps fixes that the developer team was able to identify based on the community feedback.
Freeman also mentioned in the blog that Dice would be reverting some of the TTK changes made in the earlier update 5.2. The controversial changes made in 5.2 saw a sweeping rebalance of all the game’s weapons, increasing the time to kill alongside the addition of controversial spotting abilities that dramatically changes.
The moderator also mentioned, ”We’ve seen New Weapon ownership double thanks to this approach in Chapter 5, and so we’re keen to see how we will improve that across our next Chapter. We’ve also tweaked the earn rate of Chapter XP at End of Round to better reward players who place higher on the scoreboard, to ensure that your performance across the round is better rewarded.”
The upcoming Update 6.0 will be followed by update 6.2. Update 6.2 will target a more expansive set of fixes and adjustments that the Battlefield community pointed out.
Battlefield 5 Update 6.0 Release Date –
Talking about the release of the upcoming update 6.0 in Battlefield, there are no official words on the release yet. The official statement confirms that update 6.0 won’t be rolling about next week. But, you can expect the version in the first week of February.

Battlefield 5 creators have finally unveiled the official name and poster of the upcoming chapter in the game. The new chapter 6 is named “Into the Jungle,” and will roll out along with patch update 6.0. The developers haven’t announced the date of official arrival yet, but we are expecting the update in the first week of February.

The developers finally dropped the trailer of the upcoming Chapter 6 in Battlefield. Chapter 6 – Into the Jungle features three new weapons, two new gadgets, a new elite, and a brand new map called the Solomon Islands.

Update (February 04) –
The developers are finally rolling out the all-new update 6.0 for Battlefield 5. The new update will go live across Xbox One, PS4 and PC platforms today.
According to the official update schedule by Dice, the update will be first available for PC platforms at 1 AM PT/4 AM ET, later on, PS4 platform at 2 AM PT/5 AM ET and at last, the update will roll-out for Xbox One players at 3 AM PT/6 AM ET.
