A new episode of Pokemon Season 23 has been released in Japan. Pokemon fans can rejoice as Ash has caught Dragonite after a wait of 22 years. It will be interesting to see how Charizard will react after seeing Dragonite.
Coming to the episode, Ash encountered Dragonite as a Dragonair at Dragonite Island. It was having trouble flying and using Dragon Dance like other Dragonair. Seeing this Ash helped Dragonair to master the use of wings to fly. With the help of Pikachu, Ash managed to help Dragonair. Then Dragonair sensed that its friends were in trouble so it went with Ash and found that Team Rocket had captured the Dragonite. When Team Rocket’s Wailord sent Ash away with a splash, Dragonair evolved into Dragonite and saved him. When they defeated Team Rocket, Dragonite expressed its wish to stay with Ash.

Ash has caught a very powerful Pokemon at the start of the series. Now, we might see Ash catching some base forms of Pokemon in the upcoming episodes to strike the balance.
I was right all along. He will get the Dragonite, who is voiced by Kenta Miyake. The voice actor also portrayed other Pokémon of Ash’s like Donphan, Krookodile, Noivern, and Meltan, which are from Generations 4, 5, 6, and 7 respectively. pic.twitter.com/5POYSMS8rF
