Soul Hackers 2 is a JRPG that offers a futuristic cyberpunk setting with an anime-like visual design. The story and the characters are well written and do justice to the prequel. In the game, you’ll get to experience various supernatural phenomena and unknown dangers that’ll await you. The presentation of the game is amazing and highlights the strong points of the game very well. The story revolves around agent Ringo, made by Aion. She must save mankind from the upcoming disaster that threatens to erase mankind. As a player, you’ll have various means to strengthen Ringo and her companions. You can fuse with stronger demons and use their abilities, upgrade your weapons, and more.
Like most ATLUS titles, Soul Hackers 2 is playable for the most part if you can look past the issues that plague it. Apparently, the devs forgot to implement some of the features that are mandatory in the PC port. Especially when it comes to tweaking resolution, aspect ratio, and full screen & pillar box issues, which is unacceptable. Many fans slammed the PC port in Steam reviews and called it lazy on the devs’ end. We believe ATLUS will fix all the issues in the game via updates and hopefully, the game will be much more immersive.

Given the issues the PC version of Soul Hackers 2 has compared to the console, unfortunately, it doesn’t have ultrawide support. Thankfully, there is a workaround for this as one of the passionate users in the community developed a fix that solves it.
