Power Cycle Your PlayStation 5 –

Performing a power cycle of your console can be a fix to the out-of-range signal issue. Likewise, this process allows you to reset the cache on your console. Performing a power cycle of your console is rather simple. You can follow the steps below to power cycle your console:

  1. First and foremost, you have to press and hold the PlayStation 5 power button for about 5 seconds to shut it off completely.
  2. Next up, you have to unplug the power adapter from the power supply.
  3. Then, you have to unplug the HDMI or VGA cable from your console as well as your Monitor or TV.
  4. Now, you have to leave the console like this for about 1 to 2 minutes.
  5. You can plug your console’s power adapter into the power supply. Likewise, you can also swap the ends of your HDMI or VGA cable and plugin. This means that the end of the HDMI cable that was previously in the monitor is now in the console.
  6. Finally, you can now power on your PlayStation 5 to see whether or not it fixes the issue.

Change your HDMI cable –

The HDMI cable can also be the reason behind the video signal issue on your PlayStation 5. Therefore, you can resolve such an issue by using a new as well as a high-speed HDMI cable.

Change Video Output in Safe Mode –

Another fix to resolve the video signal issue on your PlayStation 5 is by changing the video output in the Safe Mode of your console. Likewise, you can do this by following the steps below:

  1. First and foremost, you have to press and hold the power on button on your PlayStation 5 for about 5 to 10 seconds. Likewise, you have to wait for the sound of the second beep from the console.
  2. After booting into the Safe Mode of your PlayStation 5, you have to now connect your PlayStation 5 controller using the USB cable.
  3. Then, you have to press the PS button on the controller to find the Safe Mode options.
  4. Now, you have to select the Change Video Output option. You can then select the Change Video Resolution option.
  5. Finally, you can select either the Automatic or the Max resolution option available. Matching the resolution in this setting to your monitor’s resolution is the best way to ensure stability.
