It is quite basic that we all can install and delete games on the PS5 console. But, not many people know that you can also delete parts of the games on the PS5 console. The PS5 advertises about 825GB of available SSD space, out of which only 667GB is usable after taking system files into account. As we are moving forward in the gaming industry, we are seeing massive improvements in the graphics quality, story length, and technology used while developing the game. These improvements are some of the factors that contribute to making the game bigger in size. As the storage space is limited in every video game console, it is mandatory to manage some space by deleting parts of the games. So, without wasting any more time, let’s get right into it.

Delete part of games on PS5

Deleting some parts of a game is just a piece of cake. Just follow the steps ahead and you will learn how to do that to keep your console’s storage free. Here are the steps that you must follow to delete part of the games on PS5:

  1. On the Home Screen of your PS5 console, select Settings from the top right corner.
  2. Select Storage and Console Storage thereafter.
  3. Select Games and Apps to see the list of all the games that you have installed on your console.
  4. Now, from all the games you have installed, not every game will allow you to delete some of its parts. To identify a game, of which, you can erase parts, look for the edit icon right next to the game’s size. Select the edit icon to see the parts of the game.
  5. Once the list of a game’s parts appears, you can select them and hit the Ok button.
  6. After you come back to the previous screen, select Delete to complete this process.
