Modulga looks like a big fish that travels half-immersed under the sand. All we know about these creatures is that they are extremely sensitive to sound and are very territorial. Anyone stepping foot on their territory is instantly greeted by them and thrown into the air like a pizza base. When thrown in the air, Modulga does enough damage to players that they need to escape immediately. However, we’ve discovered the trick to defeating this beast without losing any hearts.
Modulga can be found in the Gerudo desert, traveling like a fish in the sand, though they are not completely out of sight. One thing to remember before heading to defeat Modulga is to find higher ground to run back to safety when needed. There are many stone platforms in the desert that you can use as your safety pillar. Equip your most reliable armor set along with a shield to endure as much damage as you can. Now, to call Modulga for battle, just fire an arrow onto the sand. Once it is in the air, use the Fuse ability and infuse a Bomb Flower/Time Bomb device with an arrow of your choice to shoot at the enemy directly. If you can, try and fire the arrows inside its mouth, as this will make sure that the creature is stunned. When stunned, it will lie motionless on the sand; this is your chance to inflict as much damage as you can with your strongest sword. Swing the sword at the beast repeatedly and run back to your safety platform once it is conscious again. Repeat the entire process until enough damage is inflicted for it to die.
