The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the latest first-party title from Nintendo. A sequel to 2017’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it was released on May 12th after six years since the prequel’s release. The reception surrounding the game is more than positive, with fans and critics praising the game for its fun gameplay mechanics and vast world. Suffice it to say, Tears of the Kingdom doesn’t disappoint. Now, with ToTK being such a massive game, it can sometimes become hard for players to search for certain things. As such, many players in the community have been asking about a way to look for the Depths & Dark Armor.
Breath of the Wild introduced a variety of armors for the players, each with a unique power-up. All these armors come in a total of three pieces: chest, leg, and head/helm. When worn together, they provide a bonus. In Tears of the Kingdom, armor functions the same way too. The Dark Armor and Depth Armor are both excellent pieces of equipment that will certainly help you explore Hyrule and save Princess Zelda. So, how and where do you get it? Let’s find out!!
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (ToTK) Depths & Dark Armor: Where to Get & Find
Depths Armor
The Depths Armor Set is a brand new addition to Tears of the Kingdom, unlike the Dark Armor. When donned, it will give Link “Gloom Resistance”. If you already didn’t know, Link will lose a heart if he stands for more than five seconds in the gloom. Your red hearts will turn gray, and you will be unable to heal using the usual methods. Only through certain methods will you be able to get rid of this debuff. The Depths Armor set will help you resist gloom by giving you three gloom hearts. What’s more, the Depths Armor set will also provide “Gloom Attack Resist” as a set bonus. The Depths Armor set consists of three set pieces – Hood of the Depths, Tunic of the Depths, and the Gaiters of the Depths.
Dark Link Armor
The Dark Link Armor was introduced in Breath of the Wild. When all three pieces are worn together, the armor will give you a set bonus – Night Speed Up. As the name itself suggests, wearing the set will allow Link to run at more speed during nighttime. Now that you know enough about both of these armors, let’s start the journey.
The Depths Armor and Dark Link Armor can be bought for a set amount of poes. But first, you will need to find a Bargainer Statue. You will find the first Bargainer Statue at Lookout Landing. Complete any of the temples there to unlock the statue there. Talk to the statue to start your Depths and Dark Armor collecting journey. The first piece that he will offer to you will be the Dark Tunic piece. After that, the statue will offer you the location of the next statue in exchange for Poes.
