Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has been able to keep the legacy of Warhammer Fantasy alive. The game came out back in March 2018, starting with PC gamers. People who own membership of the Xbox Game Pass were able to get the game for free. The game came out for Xbox One in 2018. The console in competition, PlayStation got its edition in December 2018, with the version coming out for the PlayStation 4. Looking at the competing market, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 also brought out versions for the next generation consoles. The Xbox Series X and S got their Warhammer copy from 3rd December 2020.
In the game, people continue the Warhammer Fantasy fictional universe. The game is solely multiplayer, so you need the cooperation of your gaming partner/partners. Cooperation is important to fight it out against the Chaos army. Along with this, your team would also be facing the Skaven (a rat-human hybrid). The base game has got 13 missions for you to complete. You get to have more than 50 weapons, and over 20 different types of enemies to fight off. Warhammer Vermintide: Crossplay?
With a game, that spans across four different platforms, an important doubt people often raise is regarding the crossplay feature. Is Warhammer Vermintide 2 having a crossplay feature. In simple words, no. The technical director at Fatshark, Robin Hagblom has said,
“No, we will not have cross-platform multiplayer”
The game is unfortunately not having a crossplay feature. But the developers have been taking note of the demand for crossplay.
