The closed beta of Valorant – new game from Riot Games – starts on Tuesday, but the public will have their first contact with the game this Friday through Twitch Rivals. The matches that will be presented at the Valorant Showcase were captured last weekend when there was a closed alpha for content creators and journalists. In addition, Twitch Rivals will be distributing keys for the beta. The games will be streamed through the official channel of Twitch Rivals and the channels of content creators who are partners of the platform.
Last weekend, VALORANT’s “secret” alpha test took place, inviting Riot Games FPS pros and famous Streamers. The lucky selectors also had the opportunity to record, and despite the content being embargoed until April 3, nearly 7 minutes of material from the game’s menu and practice was leaked from a Czech YouTuber.
Tomorrow is interesting not only because of the end of the embargo but also because, according to rumours, Riot Games will be running a VALORANT Twitch Rivals event, the matches of which were recorded during the test weekend. The information is thanks to Slasher, who is a ” professional leaker, ” so it’s worth taking it seriously because it has such good and reliable sources that you don’t get lost.
Riot is partnering with Twitch to broadcast a Valorant Twitch Rivals event that was already played and recorded during this past weekend’s alpha test with esports pros and streamers, sources tell me
the event will be streamed live with casters on April 3rd when the embargo drops

Interestingly, although the competition was pre-recorded, Riot gives way and has also contracted official commentators to make viewers really feel like a Twitch Rivals. The competition is also worth watching because in addition to casual streamers, current and ex FPS pros like shroud, dizzy, iddqd, or Nadeshot also played, and thanks to the Twitch drop system, they could even get a beta key.

Valorant presents a mix of Overwatch with CS: GO, that is, a 5 × 5 tactical shooting game and characters with skills. However, weapons and powers must be purchased with the economy of the match. Have fun1
