Valorant TPM 2.0 error on Windows 11: How to fix it

TPM 2.0 Error in Valorant: Recently, the majority of Valorant gamers have experienced an error stating that the Vanguard build requires TPM 2.0 and secure boot. In a nutshell, this is an error caused by Valorant called VAN9001 for Windows 11 gamers. This is not, however, a permanent error and can be fixed by following a few simple procedures.

When it comes to cheating, we all know how severe Valorant is. Furthermore, the game makes every effort to maintain the game clean and free of cheats. This is made possible by Riot’s Vanguard, which keeps hackers and cheaters out of the game.

It is not, however, fixed, and the Vanguard requires continuous updates. Windows 11 is a new version of Windows that was just released. Furthermore, Vanguard changed it as well, and now some Windows 11 users are encountering the TPM 2.0 issue when attempting to launch Valorant.

This is merely a Riot Vanguard update, and most gamers who were playing the Windows 11 test version are experiencing issues. So, in order to fix the Van9001 error in Valorant, gamers can use their secure boot.

Let’s have a look at the fixes for the Valorant TPM 2.0 error.

How to fix the Fix Valorant TPM 2.0 error?

Because it is a long and drawn-out process, the repair process may irritate you. So, to fix your TPM 2.0 error and resume playing Valorant smoothly, be patient and follow these steps:

 

  • Go to Settings > Update and Security > Recovery
  • Next, navigate to Advanced Startup, hit Restart, and let your PC reboot.
  • After a successful reboot, Click on Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > UEFI Firmware Settings and again Restart.
  • Following these above steps, you get access to BIOS.

Ensure that your BIOS is set to advanced mode and that the TPM is turned on. After you’ve enabled it, go to the boot tab and look for Secure boot.

Step-1: Enable Secure Boot.

Step-2: Scroll down and locate OS type. Set it to Windows UEFI mode.

Step-3: Finally, Save the changes and click on Reset.

These methods will undoubtedly solve your TPM 2.0 error and you can continue playing the game without facing any issues.
